A total of 560 New Students (Maba) participated in the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Monday 15 August 2022.
According to the chairman of the committee Hendra, S.Si., S.Pd., M.Pd PKKMB was attended by all freshmen from various departments within the FMIPA environment.
"This year's PKKMB participants are 560 new students with details, 75 people from the Department of Physics, 72 people from Chemistry, 187 people from Mathematics, 115 people from ITK and 124 people from Biology," said Hendra in his speech.
Meanwhile, the dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Prof. Dr. Astin Lukum, M.Si emphasized that the implementation of the PKKMB will certainly not involve bullying of new students.
"The implementation of PKKMB in FMIPA has not been bullied until. PKKMB activities are only until Tuesday at 16.30 WITA. After that, there are no more activities," he said in front of the freshmen who packed the courtyard around the FMIPA building.
He added, "The Faculty is not responsible if there are students who take part in activities outside the PKKMB. If anyone participates, they will be given strict sanctions."
