As a student, one of the competencies that must be possessed is the ability to conduct research or research. To encourage competence in research reasoning, the Department of Biology begins to train students as researchers from an early age, through field practicum courses. Through a series of educational processes in the ecology and botany of higher plants, students are trained to conduct research by going directly to the field. Through field practicum, students will observe ecological conditions at the location, and also observe biodiversity. After making observations and field observations, students are also required to do research related to observers that is carried out individually or in groups. Then compile it in a report and will be in seminars.
